Call for applications: WCEF2023 Studios
WCEF Studios are local events that support the World Circular Economy Forum from anywhere in the world. Studios can be organised by anyone.

This year’s World Circular Economy Forum will begin on 30 May in Helsinki, Finland. Anyone can participate in the forum online, but in-person participation is by invitation only. To engage local participation throughout the world, we have once again opened the call for applications to organise a studio event.
WCEF2023 Studios support the annual main event from anywhere in the world. They deliver all or part of the main Forum programme while incorporating additional elements to select local audiences, live or online. Studios can be used to connect discussions on local circular economy topics and solutions with relevant content from the main event. Additional programmes can include local keynotes, round table discussions, workshops and networking, for example.
WCEF2023 Studios can be organised preferably during the first two days of the main event on 30–31 May or by using recordings of the sessions. Using recordings may enable easier participation from other time zones, for example. All studio events are to take place before 9 June. When organised during the main event, any additional programme should occur during the breaks or before or after the main event’s programme.
Any language can be used in a WCEF Studio, although official Forum content is only available in English. The host is responsible for all practicalities and expenses related to organising the studio, including the venue, possible virtual event platform, local programme content, invitations, registrations, marketing and communications, as well as possible translations.
